Isn't this the saddest - the very saddest?My mother should be ashamed---if I recall, a few days before this school picture I fell asleep with gum in my hair and my bangs had to be trimmed to get it all out.....and that dress!!!oh the shame of the 70s!

Ooooh boy! That's a fun one! I think we all have those pictures of ourselves that are safely stored in a shoebox somewhere. Brave woman you are! Despite it all, you are pretty darn cute still!
The picture that remain from childhood! I always say that I look so dorky in my pictures and how could my mom let me get glasses that look like that? (Afterall, I am pretty blind w/out them.) She says that they were stylish at the time. Sigh, the crosses we bear, LOL.
I think I had that very same dress. Is that 1971? 72? Thankfully I went to Catholic school so we all had our pictures taken in our little uniforms, and I didn't get that polyester nightmare haunting me through the ages. I think the bangs are cute though!!!!
Yes, this was 1973 or 74 i think (always was a bit behind). I went to Catholic school but they actually let us dress up on picture day....that and the last day of school.
