Doodle - Do
I live in a major Metropolitan area with over a million people. I drive on three major highways to get to work with traffic out the bajanga. Today there was a dead rooster next to the concrete barrier shoulder of the highway...a rooster. I cannot fathom where it came from and I am perplexed....a rooster.

Definitely what I would consider random. Do you live in a warm climate, or near farmland? If you live in NYC or something I would think it is a step beyond random, ha ha.

I live just outside of the city limits and my neighbor has chickens. They get out all the time and run around the 'hood'. What a sight to see. Seriously, if I wanted to wake to farm animals, I would have chosen a farm!

I live in one of the top 20 largest cities in the US. I was right in the middle of it - I'm sure no farm animals (in fact there are regulations against them in the whole metropolitan area)---very strange
I live in Oakland CA. The SF area has several million people. There are roosters ALL OVER the place here. Cock fighting is very popular in some of the Hispanic and Asian neighborhoods.
Erin - that's a thought...wow, now more to wonder about :)
I wonder where the hen house is?
leroy,
lust like a man to wonder that..haha
lol Petunia...I figure a rooster has to have a heirum somewhere a.k.a. chicken coup although I had not quite made the leap to mankind. I suppose many a man has dreamed but that is as far as that will ever go for most!
Very bizzarr! I have tagged you for the thinking blog award and this post really has me thinking :)
Gee, I wonder why he was crossing the road in the first place?
If the idea was to get to the other side - he only made it half way...maybe he felt like "a fish out of water", so to speak, and did himself in...
